About your host

We, Fred and Kannika, are the hosts of House Kannika. Our shared journey first began in Germany, where we lived for several years. But Kannika increasingly longed for the warmth, culture, and familiar landscapes of her homeland. That’s how the idea was born to move to Thailand and build something of our own here.

When we discovered this piece of land nestled between rice fields and mountains, it was immediately clear: this is a place of peace and inspiration. Fred recognized the potential for a small resort where people could enjoy nature and experience genuine Thai hospitality. Kannika was thrilled – and that’s how House Kannika came to life.

Today, we are happy to welcome guests from all over the world and share with them the beauty of Northern Thailand.
